How to make Delicious White Sandwich Bread

Here on the homestead we love to make as much food as we can from scratch. Sadly, the children do not always enjoy eating our whole wheat sourdough bread. So we have had to revive an old family recipe for delicious white sandwich bread!

Why Make This White Sandwich Bread

Making food that the whole family will eat can be tricky. Between picky eaters and diet restrictions sometimes we just need to make something we know everyone will eat. This recipe is great at over coming the picky eaters in any family. It produces a soft fluffy and mildly sweat bread that your whole family will love. The first loaf usually does not even last the first day here in our house.

This recipe is also fairly forgiving for substitutions, with the exception of using whole wheat flour instead of white. We tried that once and it did not turn out well! Now we use unbleached flour, but it tolerates any white flour we have tried it on.

Give this recipe a try and I am sure it will become a family favorite in your house as well!
